The Letter J for Jaad

It’s all about the letter J for Jaad today!

• I used the Montessori: Letter Work board book and left it opened to the letter J. I then practiced making the J sound and moving my finger on top of the letter J in the book. I also had Jaad give it a try.
• I cut out a large letter J using white paper. I then offered Jaad a glue stick and a darker paper. He was supposed to glue the letter J on the purple paper, which he did.
• Using the letter J magnet, Jaad stamped it in paint to make letter J’s on paper.
• Afterwards, I offered Jaad some paintbrushes for him to continue his art project.

Colors: Felt and Bottle Caps

I’m always saving bottle caps to use when coming up for games and activities for Jaad and Bir.

Today I used them to set up a coloring matching game for Jaad. I simply cut up different colors of felt into leaf shapes and set them next to the bottle caps.  Jaad was so excited when he saw them!
